Just thought I would share that I thought my transmission was slipping lately. I datalogged it and noticed I am actually spinning the 305/50R20s despite the e-lock mod at the top of first gear. The Ethanol% is high because I just made a tune change and it has not had time to settle back down to the usual 0-10%. I think the 12' I had would have loved the Nismo exhaust like this 2014 does and been even quicker than it was with the tiny stock 2012 pipes. The 14' is consistantly pulling nearly 10 gm/sec more airflow than the 12' pulled. More air in = More HP Also noticed it is picking up a little bit of knock. Been running on 89 octane in the cooler weather with ZERO knock, guess I need to go back to 93 for the hotter summer months.
I have been playing with a modified 4" Spectre Mustang CAI and an older Volant box. The 4" CAI Roms I have found are not doing the job for me. So I pulled it back off and put the Airaid MXP back on it. Will revist the 4" CAI at a later time. Just needed to get it dialed in for a new modification. One that gave me a power increase on the Dynojet from 332 RWHP to 399 RWHP. The mod forced me to remove 2* of timing from 3,000-6,000 for safety as well as use richer target air/fuel ratios.
Here is the teaser photo. See if you can find my newest mod!
Figured I would atleast get some kind of response....Oh well.
I cut the reducer cone out of my Airaid MXP intake and created a custom ROM. Running very well and pulls noticeably harder on the top-end from 3,500+. Then I got my hands on a NOS Sniper kit.
Final numbers from the 75 hp shot are here, window switch was re-adjusted to start spraying at 3,000 rpm and WOT microswitch on the accelerator pedal. Dyno pull was started at ~3,500 rpm to keep it from downshifting mid run.
1st pull was 398.90 and 510.43 with the 40 psi fuel jetting.
2nd pull was 404.56 and 520.24 with the 50 psi fuel jetting same 75 HP n20 pill
3rd pull was 402.28 and 526.19 same as above with 1* timing added back, bottle pressure was a little low after the third run. Either the bottle pressure or the PCM added a little more fuel. Either way its making good power from a simple 75 hp shot.
Comparing to my 2012 the 75 shot and better traction has more than made up the 500+ lbs weight difference. Cannot wait for this fall to set some 4x4 records. Going after Deerslayer in a FST 5,800+ lbs raceweight truck!
I am running the 170*F 300ZX thermostat and swapped the iridium/platinum plugs for copper NGK V-groove.
And this is why you get no response!!! More made up bullshit taking credit from other people. click the link and scroll down. This dyno is from a couple of guys with lightnings. Same exact dyno!!!
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
