Nissan officially confirmed plans today to reveal the all-new 2016 Titan pickup truck in roughly six months during the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
A company spokesman confirmed that the truck will be revealed during the massive auto show. With the upcoming Titan, Nissan is seeking to improve its position in the highly-competitive half-ton truck segment. Part of that plan includes an optional 5.0-liter Cummins diesel V8 expected to offer roughly 300 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.
Not serious in anyway, but I'm actually liking the GTR lights on the truck. I just wish they'd have played with the grill a little more, maybe given us a peak at what they're working on.
This is the best I've seen of the new Titan. Mostly good news, except the rear slider is wrong. If the new truck doesn't maintain or improve on the current 'large' heated slider I won't be impressed.
I like the longer hood as I always felt the current models hood looked stubby. The test mule pic looks Dodge Dakotaish, hope in it's final forn it doesn't.
Final form. Note the dinky rear slider remains. I've also not seen a model with a front bench seat. My preference will be an optioned up SV (cloth), or base SL (leather) with 6 passenger seating.
