I took the boat out the the lake yesterday. At the take off, I would accelerate and I would hear a loud noise, almost like tires griding, or at times a loud exhaust kick and then quiet down. It towed fine once I was towing, the sound only lasted for about 2 or 3 seconds and then it was normal. The boat is only 3600 pounds and I had it in tow mode...It only does the sound when I first take off thats it...it doesnt do it at all when driving without a trailer.
It sounds like the ABLS system kicked in when the tire(s) slipped.
