What type of engine oil should I use?????????

Hi, I am planning on changing my oil this weekend and I was wondering what was the best type of oil to put in my Titan. This is my first oil change and I have 2,000 miles on it. I dont really want to go synthetic I just want to use regular oil. Also, it gets very hot here in the summer(90+ degrees) and very cold in the winter(0 degrees) if that matters at all.

Davo,

I've been using Mobil 1 5w/30 and others have been using Mobil 1 0w/40.
I live in the south and it gets 90+ in the summer and well below freesing in the winter and the 5w/30 has been working just fine...

Come on now, it's an honest question. There's no need for that. We don't want to become like the "other" forums now do we.

According to the 2004 owner's manual you
can use 10-W-30 or 10-W-40 down to 0 degrees F.
Below 0 degrees use 5-W-30 according to the
manual.

Thanks, I've been researching it a little and I think i'm gonna use a 5w-30 weight oil. They recommend this weight for engines breaking in. I've always used Castrol in my other vehicles but not sure to use that or go with mobil 1 right away. Any suggestions?
