Add Fogs and gain autolamp feature

Ok i just finished my auto lamp project i will provide photos of wire locations and parts within the next day or so, So i purchased my foglamp kit two lamps, and a stalk for the headlamp and turn signal switch, purhcased a sentenial sensor( optical sensor), removed front interior dash cowl, drilled hold that is prestamped in all Ts, found a connector from a salvage yard for a two pin connection.

Next was the tricky part, having enough wire and color coding it for the BCM connection, you have to be careful on the BCM connection, wires in harness are really loomed tight.

tapped in to the two seperat connectors in the BCM connector wiring about 2 inches back from connectors, and voila, pita but worth it.

Next youll have to arange a trip to a service shop that has he consult II and get cozty with a tech that has some diag knowlege and have him access the BCM functions and he can turn the auto lamp feature on, XE owners may or may not have this option as they do not even have the harness for fog lamps

Mine is an 04 CC SE, so i have proof it works ill also have to get you some video of the cycle time on and off , i had thought about just leaving them, on at night and letting the battery saver circut do the job but the interior alarm just whines and takes longer to shut off.

i will also try to post the wiring connection diagram , when i get back to shop on monday.
