Aftermarket axle seals.

Is there any conclusive evidence out there of aftermarket axle seals that will work on my '04. Has anyone used an aftermarket seal yet with no leaks. My Nissan dealer is far away and usually does not stock the seal so I end up having to delay the job.

Holy cow, glad I had the dealer fix my seal leak. If I tried cutting the bearings off I'd probably saw the axle in half...

Amazon has everything you need.

Genuine Nissan Seal:

Timken SET10 Bearing set:

These will fit 04 through 07 Titans. I cut the bearings off of the axle shaft using a cutting wheel. Using a gas pipe 1and 5/8 inside diameter I beat the new bearings onto the axle shaft.

There are videos on you tube if you need help.

I let my auto parts store press the bearings on and off. I buy the bearing there, and they do the shop work for $35.

A mom and pop place, but quite large. They supply, and do machine shop work for many service stations. A total seal job usually runs me about $125, that includes parts and shop work. Seals typically last me 80,000+ miles before they start leaking again. Another reason I was looking for an aftermarket seal, longevity.
