Just got off the phone w/Greg. We shot the sh!t for about 20 min.
Anywho, my stuff is on the way!!! I had recently ordered the Procomp Stage One from an on-line source. Good deal at $1,228.00 shipped (Greg thought so too). To compliment it I went with the Radflo's up front (Eibach springs), Deaver 3" spring pack to replace the procomp blocks (Greg said he'd buy those back from me), the CST end links and Bilstein 5125 rear shocks. Should be a sweet setup. I'll wait til next year to do wheels & tires. Still got a good 15,000 miles to go on these stock tires. Then it will be 35's on 18 x 9's.
who's doing the install?? I'm willing to come down and help in anyway i can if you're going to tackle it on your own.
i'm debating either the 4 inch performance package, or just coilovers and deavers/bilsteins for a 2 inch lift... my NYC driving may prevent me from going higher....
No, I had already ordered the kit. That was the first thing I told him. He could've hung up on me right then and there, but he was more than happy to accommodate me. I had mentioned to him in an earlier conversation about this deal I found, and he basically said in not so many words, go for it. He knew I was going to be buying all the other stuff from him, so do you still think I wasted his time? He also gave me some installation tips based on his experience with this kit, but overall, said it was the best kit out there as far as fit and ease of installation, and works well with his equipment also.

Wow, make sure to take pics once everything is done. Thats what I appreciate about Greg. Once on the phone ... this guy is so easy to talk to, helpful, and very insightful even though I constantly throughout silly and stupid questions at times.
Keep us posted with pics. I can't wait to see it when it's done !!

I will post pics during the install for sure. For the halibut though, I'm going to get a price from my front-end shop also, still not sure if my back can take this project. If I do it, though, the weider belt will be at the ready LOL

Got my procomp kit today. It came in 4 boxes. I just went through every part, nut and bolt, and all is there, plus a couple extra washers. Kit looks good. It's a shame a lot of this stuff I won't even use since it will be substituted with PRG stuff (i.e. switching rear shocks for bilsteins, rear blocks for deaver spring pack, sway bar end links for cst upgrades, coil spacers for Radflo's). Some of this replaced stuff Greg said he could use, so he might buy them from me. Can't wait to get wrenchin', still waiting on his stuff though..

When I talked to Greg, he basically said himself that you can get the lift kits cheaper on the web. But he still doesn't mind helping out and giving advise. :smartass: LMAO

You said it yourself that his comments are "smart and short." I myself would rather get straight to the point and be sarcastic but true than beat around the bush.
I got the radflo coilovers, deaver 2.5" spring pack, cst sway bar end links & bilstein rear shocks for $1,649 shipped. The procomp lift kit was $1,228 shipped so that's $2,877 for everything. I think its a good deal. I will be adding the street traction bars as well, as soon as I can talk to Greg again. I think he was away yesterday. I'll try him again today.

did you decide if you're going to install yourself or have a shop do it?
Still not sure. I need to talk to a good friend of mine who has an awesome home shop complete with a full hydraulic lift and a killer set of tools. I have the ability to tackle it myself, but there are certain parts of the install which will require a helper, plus I don't want to have to buy a transmission jack if I don't have to. I have all the air tools and jack & stands. I did the levelling kit myself, but this is a littttttle more complex LOL
I think I'm gonna do it myself. The local shops say $600-800 to install. To me this seems high. I asked the dealer but they said they needed to check first. To me if I was gonna have someone do it, the dealer, even though they will be higher would be the best bet. Then you have Nissans/Dealer to fall back on.
My biggest concern with doing it myself is also the diff. weight. Other than that it is pretty straight forward.

That's the kit I have now (plus the Chaos Uppers) and I love it. Now I'm building enough money to get some new wheels and tires. Since Greg's not sending you the ProComp kit I highly suggest that you grind down the steering stops on the knuckles.
Ohhh boyyy! The goodies are here peoples. Just waiting on my traction bars. The stuff in the last pic didn't make the lineup (procomp coil spacers & rear shocks). They're never leaving the box, until I sell them to someone. Also going are: rear blocks & sway bar end links & associated brackets. Greg's stuff is replacing all these parts. Hey Greg, if you see this, how much ya give me for this stuff?
ummmm......I'd like to take a peek in your garage...
I bet everything has a place! I've never seen a picture lined up so perfect!!
So when is it going on?
