Hopefully I will make it Friday. The ECU is still learning the new flow but maybe it will be close by then.
I don't know as it's worth that much in the quarter but the true duals are quicker than the Ypipe was and it would stand to reason from the extra air I'm flowing that this will be quicker yet and I can't wait to find out.
I would but my camera is on the Fritz. It's 8" behind the front flange in the straight portion of the Nismo exhaust and the total length of the actual bent portions of pipe is about 11".

Judging from all the research I've done, proper pipe sizing and good design with high velocity will yield as much HP as open headers.
I understand where you're coming from and although it makes logical sense, exhaust physics would dictate otherwise and I doubt you will realize any gains by cutting a portion of the exhaust off a well designed system.
