What PSI are you running your tires at? Try putting more air in to harden them up and reduce the contact patch.

That seem easy enough. Will have to remember that when these tires get bald I can just burn the rest of them off.

Mine spins the right wheel (no limited slip) at about 1/3 throttle on clean ,dry , blacktop. Seems to keep spinning until I let up on gas. I have standard 2-wheel /2.94 , 18" Wranglers; I do like the extra power and mileage of premium gas, get about the same results with 50% premium.
It is actually a little embarrasing as I am pushing 70 and am too old for such foolishness.

because you have an open differential. It is a safer differential that actually all makes of all cars have them. It allows one wheel..the wheel with less traction to spin instead of looping the car/truck out.

Now you can get vehicles with a LSD differential that will lock the rear differential on wheel spin forcing both tires too spin...which you don't have...nor does Nissan make.

Nissan does however have what is called ABLS on some trucks. It uses the antilock braking system to send brake to the spinning tire in return forcing power to the other wheel.

I had that problem too. I thouhght that there was something wrong with my truck all the guy's laughed at me saying that my truck was a p.o.s. because when I tried to do a power burnout the moter just died. Needless to say I was at the dealership that afternoon wanting some answers. The tech asked me how was I driving the truck and I told him that I was taking it easy because the truck was new and it needed time to break in. He told me to take the truck on 95 and open it up a few times then try to burn out again but don't apply the brakes because the ECU will cut the motor. I did it and I did a burnout until I let off the gas. Told the guys what the problem was and I've never had a problem since. Also may I suggest the 2* timing advance with that mod it's hard not to light them up.
