You just jogged my memory. I was going to re-wire this mod to a factory switch and completely forgot!

THanks!

Most switches have male blade connectors on the back of them, so you would need female blade connector to slip on them. See Pic 2. And the connectors look like this. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=family

I used the switch in Pic one, but like the switch on Penquins better, cuz it's harder to see. See Pic 3.

FYI - we discovered that it is a RED wire with a BLACK stripe on the SE models.

LE models seem to have a RED wire with a GREEN stripe... no idea why.

Does the LE come with something the SE doesn't Brake or traction control wise? That would be the difference cuz the wire colors would change with the different systems.

You got it! Simple as pie!

Tip: Cut the wire in the exact CENTER so that you have as much copper as possible to solder or crimp onto... It's a rather short wire.

We've labeled this mod the "anti-theft" mod for wife approval. If the switch is flipped, you won't be able to get the truck out of park. A potential theif would have no idea why they can't move the truck, so it's technically a "safety feature."

OK.
This is a saftey feature that prevents Wide Open Throttle mishaps while the brake is depressed. In other words, A huge jug of milk falls on your gas pedal and gets lodged and it starts to accelerate at the speed of sound and so you try to slam on the brake. )THe brake pedal has a little switch above the pedal that is depressed when it is applied)
This little switch cuts throttle power about 90 percent so it is unable to go and have a more reaction time of getting the freekin milk off the gas.
This is why if youve ever tried to do a burnout by applying the brake, you can hardly spin your wheels.
Bypass that wire and rip your tires to shreds!
And heres my video: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...f2447a195a.htm
