Joe's is done. I tested it out too! shhhh dont tell him thats really where the rubber came from on the tail end of his truck. He thinks it was left over from the track! lol...J/K.
First outstanding idea !!!! PROPS to KINGBEAN and ROBEXPLORING !!!! The diff is day and night !!! I will say that it was tough getting to the wire( or getting enough wire ), but that might be due to it being 30 with 20 mph winds. LOL Thanks for the short cut, here is a pic of where I put my " BURN " switch. Thanks again guys !!! Jer BTW...I know its dirty, hard to push the shop vac through the snow ...LOL
It diables the BALS? system, which cuts engine power and applys brakes to the wheels that spin. So doing burnouts is now possible. Great mod if you wanna go to the track, or show off, or melt your Badyears and have an excuse for buying new tires.
Great install Jerdog, I wish I had some open switch bays!
Guys you are killing me. It looks so easy with the great PICs and write up that I feel complled to do it to mine now. On boy i can already see another set of tires on order after a few burn outs.... Great job guys.
I did this mod a few months ago. I used a simple toggle switch that I mounted under my dash. You won't find it unless you are looking for it, yet it's easy to get to. My next wiring mod may be the purchase a VDC switch and use that to toggle the ABS power for off-road use.
