I want performance. and yes, I know the exhaust wont make it a rocket. this is my first V8 but DEFF. not my first track prep mod or mod in general.
I said I didnt care about the noise. just to see if leaving it muffler-less would make a major diff. vs a flowmaster.
now that I think of it, it was a dumb question. I think Im gonna try to get 2 44 series mufflers welded on and call it good.

No prob. its not a dumb question i was trying to figure out what you were goin for. To be honest, i have never seen a dyno or 1/4 mi without a muffler of some sort. I dont know about daily driving, but i have seen some hemi's use cutouts on the track. I dont know how it would work on ours but its worth a try

With an 07, is it better to start with a CAI or exhaust/muffler swap?? if i am doing just one to start.
I would start with the exhaust but its really up to you. I put a Fram Boost on my 07 and it "seemed" like it made a little difference at first. However after I put my JBA Evol on, it really made the truck come alive. If I lost any low end power with just the intake, I got it back plus gobs more when the exhaust was added.
think Im gonna do the same setup as tomnymods. that **** was rediculous. I knew the VK was responsive, but damn. I mean, he doesnt have that much done, all that was N/A.
I mean, I/H/E, reflash, and diff is nothin really. and that looks insanely fun.
guess it doesnt seem like much to me cause I come from honda and nissan racing, where 2o mods is the norm.
