Is your main concern detonation?

The TT is a great mod but don't count on it taking care of ALL your traction problems depending on the tires you run and the power you're putting to the pavement.

Come on man, sharing to go faster is what the Race Club is all about so give em up and we can all be in the 13's. I would try that tune if I knew I wouldn't cook something but I'm not tuning that hot without seeing some data logs.
Is your main concern detonation and sould we adjust our setup to the tune?

The things I know to do to control detonation are listed below add any I forgot. I'm not sure which one's would help prevent detonation and not effect performance other than control engine temp to 178 - 182 and higher octane with each setup. I think I'm going to run a one step colder plug to limit any chance of detonation because I think that also would fit most advance setups and not effect performance. Would you do the three I'm doing on your setup? Thanks

Water injection
Lower compression
Higher octane
Richer air fuel mixture
Retard timing
Cooler plug

TruTrac & install is going to break me. So, i'll just be happy with whatever my truck ends up doings, #'s wise. Until, i can afford Headers & cam's.
I pulled 2.1 60's with a peg leg 2.94 gear, stock air box mod, drop in K&N and a Flowmaster 40 muffler swap. I'm pulling 2.0's now and still short spinning, maybe with the New SLT's i can get into the 1.9's.

TT is not a solve all solution

I can light them up from a roll, and from 0 i can spin them past 40 mph, this is with heavy 305/40R22's it helps though.

Got my A tune today and something went wrong... truck went from a 6.02 0-60 to a 6.45, feels like the TB is not opening all the way up, it is running lean now, and the timing is retarded more than before... grr, will get with Jared in the morning.

If she is running lean the ECM will pull timing back to keep from hurting the motor,ie. burning a piston. Hope you can get the tune straightened out, and dip in to the 0-60 5 second zone.

He said 1 of my logs looked "near perfect" & the other, looked a little lean. I also sent data logs on Sun. & got my C-Tune today. I know those guys must be super busy. Can't wait to see what this things doin' on Thurs. Good luck with your tune King. I for 1 would like to know how it turns out, after you get re-tuned.
