Well I finally got the air working which was the most important thing to me! Next will be the shifter!

You will need ....
entire console (obviously) lol
Part 27890-7S010
Screw driver (fairly long)
Dremel Tool with cutting bit.

Tyson, do you have it installed yet? I think i might change out my jump seat/arm rest for the whole center console, but im gonna keep my colum shifter so the floor shifter hole will get a dvd screen instead.

yeah its in for now I still have to find a shifter!

Keep in mind the TCU is different for floor or column shifter as with 2wd and 4wd. At least there are different part numbers for them.

I priced out this mod back in 2005 for my KC SE with bench (since we did it for our 2004 F150 FX4) and the parts were prohibitively expensive back then...to the tune of $600+ and used ones were impossible to find. Turned out to be a moot point when I traded for an LE 4x4 crew.

With 4 more model years now available, this is probably a real possibility for people wanting a flow through console after the fact!
