Someone call and mentioned they would need 600.00 bucks up front from each person for R&D and then it would take 6-8 months. I don't know about you all but that seems a bit odd to collect the money from everyone up front.
they have to make sure thier tooling, research, development, engineers costs are covered before they embark on some project.. they know we dont have near the numbers of the big 3..
this is nuthing out of the ordinary

Right. Besides, if a person is interested in buying it, they are going to be spending $600 with or without R&D.
I would rather pay $600 and have the differential after 6 months than not have it at all. This looks like it's the only way it'll ever happen.

I know, it's crazy. There must be many more 08+ owners out there that want to ditch the spider gears. There has only been one or two failures for the '08 model that I know of, but that will surely go up as time goes on.
