I have a white 05 titan. I want some led smoked tail lights and I'm having trouble deciding whether or not I like the ones available. Any help? And if anyone has pictures of their taillights installed that would help a ton!!
are you talking the e-bay ones or some higher quality ones? I know guys really like the led tails, but some have issues with the e-bay leds going out. don't know if the more expensive ones do it. so i went with spider led bulbs. rolling over 3 yrs with no probs.

I have the Volant knock-off LED tail lights. A row of LED's on both tail lights no longer works and another row flickers. I'm rather disappointed. If you find with a good quality LED tail light let us know.
I have the "Volant" LEDs also. After 5 years one row of 3 LEDs went out (it started out flickering). I opened up the housing and found a solder joint to be loose. New solder and it's been good since.
Also it's probably NOT a Volant knock off. Volant actually bought these from Laster Tech (original maker of these LED lights) put there name on it ans sell it for 3 times as much.
How did you open the housing? I tried that and cracked the outer covering.
Do you have three or five LED's on the side? I have three and from what I've heard the real Volant tail lights have five.

I think I had a couple of screws on the inside but they didn't seem to hold much on. Makes me think the cover isn't going to come off with gentle persuasion.

Maybe you do have a knock off. LOL I have 6 on the side like the Volant.
Mine had some screws and was seal but I pry the cover off.

I know this thread is old. But I'm frustrated too because I have a row of 3 out and mine has the 6 LEDs on side. I contacts Burtman industries several times and he saying they're Ina warehouse somewhere and they can get ahold of the guy...I dunno I just spent a lot of money on these Taillights and they prob 3 years old-Ish...disappoints me cuz they the only ones I like. I even tried to but another set from Burtman industries or anywhere else even but I can't find them. Plus I have two buddies buggin me to help them find the same ones zzz smh...I'm thinkin bout takin them apart so baseballs and it wasn't too hard I don't wanna crack anything...
