Hello i was wondering i just put my 2in daystar leveling kit on. It says i can fit a 33in tire. i was wondering if a 275/70/18 would fit ok. It says the overall diameter of it is 33.2. I was wondering if the .2 would matter. Thanks for your help. And what are some good ideas for aggressive tires.
No the daystar kit is just a spacer on top of the strut assembly. It was a 2in kit, which made it sit real nice after install. Now i just have to drive it around for about 50 miles or so to let everything settle in then take it to get realigned. Everything so far so good. Im still looking for a good size tire to run with it. They said no bigger then a 33 so im lookn at a 275/70/18 bf goodwrinch at ko. anyone have any input on that tire.
ya the 275 should work just fine the 33.2 is close to the 33 that your wanting on there . do u have pic before and after for your truck and was there any problems with installing it on there ? im wanting to add one to mine but not sure what i want to put on it yet .
I'm running the 275-70-18 KO's on my truck. It was stock height until today when I installed my 2" leveling kit. No problems with stock height and its even better now that its lifted. I'm super happy with how it turned out.
I installed the last Stillen 2" Front Leveling Spacers on my '04 2wd.
Ever since the installation, I hear (and feel) a distinct "clunking" noise from the front suspension when I enter driveways and go over bumps.
I double & triple checked that all the nuts & bolts are tight.
Is it necessary to install a set of "longer" (4wd) front struts?
u need a aftermarket upper arm . a lot of titans when a lift is added does it when it is used with the factory arm hits . try looking for a rough country or one that will give u more clearance then u should be good to go
