Lost Reverse?!!?!?

I have a 2008 Prox4 with 124,000 mi's,
about a week ago there was a delay when shifting into reverse, now its like being in Neutral. Although at 3k RPMS it engages into reverse. I checked fluid level and it good. Also when parked in the driveay wich has a little slope it will engage only when truck is cold.
Someone please help, I also read someone said take it to Autozone to get an error code, I tried them and the closest location looked at me like was an idiot.

Seems to work when cold as well, just started it and put in R and it worked. Then drove it down the street, came back and no R again. Someone PLEASE HELP

Have you checked the fluid level?

My friend...its time to comb Craigs List and or E-Bay. Mine shelled at 90K. Now I have an aftermarket trans. cooler....and well a newly rebuilt- "true Dana(hybrid 60) 44 with 3:31 gears" Not Nissan's Super Dana 44?...WTF!? So basically take it to a mechanic you can trust....its possible that the trans. module is bad(handles all the ECU commands), if so... that part is cheaper than the whole transmission! Good luck.

I took it to one place today, the guy said the only code they got was a u 1000 code, he said that has nothing to do with the transmission. Im trying to google that code to see if possibly has anything to do with this reverse crap.
