2 inch leveling kit. do i need shock mount extenders
I have a 2006 nissan titan 4x4 5.6 and was putting a 2 inch leveling kit on this weekend and was wondering if it was recommended to use the shock mount extenders. i have already put new bilstiens on all four corners and as much as they cost i'd hate to tear one of my coil overs up. just wondering if anybody had any input. Thanks.
i think your only supose to go 1.5 on a 4x4, you will probally get coilbucket contact, it when the UCA hits the coil bucket, it will cause poping sounds and may make your ride a lil rough, if you have the extra $$$ you could get after market UCAs. the link above my sig pic has some on that site, there is a few other dealers out there too but Dirt King is high quality stuff and they have amazing customer service.

With an 06 u can run the 2". It was 08 and up that could only run the 1.5". I ran a 2" prg kit on my 04 titan with no problems. The prg kit is a good kit and also comes with the longer bump stops you need

The main reason you can't go more on the new titans is because they sit a little higher in front from the factory. If you go higher in the front than 1.5" on the new ones then you will get coil bucket contact without upper control arms. The RC kit comes with new upper control arms so you should be ok. That's the kit in plan to run on my 2010 Pro4x until I can afford a PRG setup. I also am going to run a 1.5" block in the back that I never used from the mini lift on my 2004.
