Strait to the point

2010 crew, Pro4X with Rockford Fosgate factory head unit with CD changer. Getting a new double din stereo. I have seen a lot of different post but to be strait to the point, I have a couple questions: 1. Do I have to bypass factory amp? 2. What are the absolute necessities for a no issue install? 3. Will this new unit render the rear controls useless? Thank you in advance.

Any direction yet?

I have a 2014 Pro4X CC. So, I am wondering the same thing now. Mine has been slowly acting up. Have you found what you were looking for? The other night I looked into this but I'm hesitant. I am more than satisfied with the RF system, just want a head unit that you can plug in and still have all the; Nav, Blutooh, Pandora, etc features.
