I fish a lot and back into the water at the boat ramps, After doing the 40,000 mile maint. I found water in the diff. Of course I replaced with new oil. Now she's humming pretty good. Any sugg. on buying a used diff or having bearings replced. I found an 09 4x4 diff still waiting on a price. Is it the same as my 07?
Thank you for reading.

What fluid did you use? Seems like a drain and fill would take care of that as long as you got the right stuff ( nissan diff 75-140 I think) I just had a quote for 700 to replace all bearings in pumpkin two on pinon, four on carrier, please someone correct me if wrong. Good Luck and Greeting to CT. or do this http://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=10624&Product=YGLNTITAN-32&Brand=Yukon_Grizzly_Locker&ShowAA=True&Year=2004&Model=Titan&DriveType=Rear Diff - 4WD&DiffId=92&Source=DiffWizard

Sounds to me like you caught it in time. I'd recommend doing the axle vent mod to prevent it from happening again.
