Am I the only one from any of the Southwestern states?

Hey guys. Caltitan here (a.k.a. Chris). Been over here a few times as a guest and decided to finally register. Cool site. Figured I would put my very first post here in the Southwest region since nobody else has posted here (live in So Cal). Love my Titan. Even after owning my Titan since June 2004, I still crack a smile when I get in it and drive somewhere.
ADDED EDIT: If you're a Titan owner from the Southwest Region, take a moment to register and reply to this thread with where you're from and how much you like your Titan. Even if its the only post you ever make here, we still want to hear from you. 8)

Caltitan, welcome! I also recognise you from TT. When I first saw you posted here, I was thinking you were one of the guys posting about having to get rid of your Titan! Glad its not so, I feel for those guys. Anywho, glad to see you here, got a good bunch of people, and can be a good time! Post often!
I am in So Cal also, but I drive a 01 Silverado and the wife drives our new Armada, can't say enough good stuff about the Armada, great SUV. I bet the truck is just as bad ***.

My brother has an '01 Silverado (he's die-hard Chevy all the way). I let him test drive my Titan and he loved it. As a matter of fact, I thought he was just going to go around the block with it but the next thing I know he's getting on the freeway, taking it up steep hills, and flooring it when he could. We got back about 20 minutes later and our wives were pissed because we didn't tell anybody we left.
CalTitan, I'm located here in Utah. Just read your post about the differential fluid levels, and you said your Dad was a retired jet mech. My Dad is a retired mechanic and was a Ford Service Manager for several years. Anyway, you ain't the only Titan owner in this neck of the woods. I was born and raised in VA, migrated to FL to spend most of my career in the Navy, and now I have moved out here with my wife and the dog & cat (the kids are grown and on their own). We love it here in the Salt Lake valley. I seem to be the odd guy out; everyone here drives F350 4x4 crew cab diesels! Ugghhh!!

OldSalt - Nice to see a new member close to the left coast. My dad spent 20+ years in the Navy (Sr. Chief), that's where he learned to be an aircraft mechanic. Not to many Titans out here either. Trucks in So Cal are either Big 3 work trucks or occasional weekend work trucks. I do see a few Titans every now and then but have yet to see one in a parking lot or somewhere where I can shoot the breeze with the owner. This is a good forum with members that can be funny and respectful with their posts. But we're certainly outgunned by the other regions - for now...
Hey all,

I'm sitting here in Utah as well. Must admit, I don't yet have a Titan, I'm still in school (college). I will be graduating in April, and will get a Titan ASAP. Anyways, I agree with you oldsalt, Titans around here are few and far between. I'm haven't been to California in while, but I imagine it's alot more popular there than here. There are so many Fords here it makes me sick.
Defendthesecond, welcome! Glad to hear from someone else here in Utah. Are you in SLC? Good luck on finishing school, and when you get your Titan, let me know. Perhaps we have the start of a Utah club going on here.
Caltitan,
I am in So Cal too. Orange County. Unfortunately, you are a SC fan. I am an UCLA fan. Congrats on staying on #1. Good luck against Arizona tomorrow. Don't forget Sat Dec. 4th against UCLA.

At least we have something in common. The Titan

Yet another So Cal Titan owner checks in! I love the rivalry SC and the Bruins share but I don't get ugly and personal about it like some do. In no way is Dec. 4th going to be a cake walk for USC. I originally put the helmet avatar up as a temporary replacement until I could get my my normal web avatar working correctly on this site, but have decided to leave it up for the remainder of the college football season. I watch the Bruins play too when I can, especially their basketball team.
Well now that I actually see this forum..Whats up?!!!! I'm in north San Diego County. Got my 04 SE about a month ago and having tons of fun. Went to Glamis this weekend and tore it up some. Currently have Eagle Alloys, BFG Mud-terrains, and a nice system in my Titan. My Gagnon Motorsports lift should be here today. Then its AEM Brute Force, JBA headers, and Banks exhaust and back to Glamis in Dec for New Years. Anyone in Socal that wants to roll its a GREAT time. Its more fun if you have 4X4 but my 2X run just great.

LOL - That's not a truck it's a project. Definitely get some pics up in the gallery as you do all those mods. I'm hoping to have a new exhaust by the end of the year. Or at least wheel-to-wheel nerf bars. Even though I'm 6' the extra step up will still help when I use my truck for work.

Yeah thats how I am with cars. I have never owned a car that I felt was good from the factory. There is always something I can do to make it more my style. Power adders are usually the ticket. This is probably the first vehicle I have ever owned that I modified something other then the engine first. My general rule is the night I go buy a car I order at LEAST the intake for it. Usually followed on day 2 by the exhaust and possibly headers. Unfortunately the intake I want for this truck is not yet released (AEM: nothing but the best) so I'm waiting and doing other things in the meantime. Vortech will most certainly be on next year this time. Probably gonna shoot to have it on next Octoberish if its released on time.
I'm from Arizona. Between my wife and myself the Titan is our 7th Nissan. You can't beat the quality/performance for the price. This truck destroys all 8)
