You can remove the half shafts and still run the truck. Heck, you can remove the whole diff assembly and still drive the truck.

car-parts.com is a good start for your search but local junkers are also good. Just make sure you get the correct ratio (3.36 in your case I think).

SideNote: What were you doing that caused the m205 to blow? Too much skinny pedal or just a bad situation?

over the warranty mark long ago already have 130,000km on the truck and not sure why it blew other than lots of use on slippery ice roads (no more than any body else here in northern Alberta Canada) i was stuck in snow and engaged 4Wd then BANG!!! and bang and bang and now it feels like a mack truck hits ya from behind every 20 ft or so...... truthfully ive had nothin but problems with this truck since i bought it but im not here to complain ..... thanks for the info guys
