I have been reading various posts regarding differential problems. Is this widespread or just just fluke happenings. Seems though a recall is forthcoming if it is prevalent. Love my Titan but this and MPG concerns me.
Hi bob and welcome to the site!! If you've checked/changed your diff fluid I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the problems you've been reading about mainly stem from heat issues and low fluid from the factory. Make sure it's up to level and has the 75W-140 synthetic gear oil in it and you should be fine.
MPG is a different topic. If you're getting low teens then you're in the ballpark with others. Between the winter formula fuels in CT. and the terrible roads... 8O (been there many times and wondered how any vehicle holds up with those aweful roads) then low teens are the norm. What are you getting for mpg?
