Went to bed last night with the weathermen saying we "might" see 1-2 inches of snow on the ground this morning. Got up at 5 this morning, looked out the window to see about a foot on the ground. Cool, finally get to test the beast out in the snow since it's the first time it's snowed since I have owned it(actually the first time I've seen snow in 2 years)

They hadn't plowed my street yet and I'm living in a neighborhood that's still being built so there is a fresh layer of mud under the snow on the street so it was slick and slide driving. I was pretty impressed with the way it handled it, although the VDC and traction control get kind of annoying, and I'm still not impressed with the tires that come with the OR package. My drive to work consists of about a 1/2 mile through my neighborhood, 2 miles of a fairly busy(first to be plowed) road and then about 1.5 miles of airport property(not plowed until the runways are done) I barely spun tires even with the vdc off and in 2wd until the tires got packed with snow then they'd spin all the snow off and grip again.
Oh well, I guess I'm pretty happy overall with the performance of it in the snow, and I hope we get more so I can go have some fun(streets were clear and sloppy by the time I got off work)

I notice you don't like the BFG's. You have to remember that the are like an "All Terrain" tire. They aren't perfect for everything like snow or sand, but the perform well on most surfaces.

I have had great luck with BFG's in the snow. They won't perform like "snow" tires, but they are better than most in the snow. I have a set of snow tires for my Ford F250 and I have thought about getting some for the Titan.

Have fun in the snow and remember to be safe!!! The Titan is a heavy truck and once you loose control it's going to be hard to stop.

it's not that I don't like the tires offroad, its just that I'm not real happy with them in any condition, even wet roads. They seem to do good on dry pavement, but only mediocre in anything else. I really just don't like them because I want new tires and if I keep talking about how bad mine are the wife will let me replace a basically new set of tires ;-)

I do the same thing when I want something and the wife is against it. I am currently working on a new trailer. I keep telling her we will need one when we build this garage. I don't think she is falling for it. After 9 years of marriage she has figured me out!!! LOL
