I see below someone asked what dont you like about you titan.
I didnt buy the titan for gas mileage but bought it for towing. I thought I'd get about 10 MPG while towing but only get 7.7 to 8.8 at best. Without towing I get anywhere from 12.7 to 15.6 depending on how much I'm getting on the gas.
How are yours doing?
By the way my trailer weighs about 7000 lbs loaded and I drive just over 60 MPH
God bless
Greg from Mi.

I get anywhere from 13.5 to 16 just normal into and around town driving. Pulling my Scout on the trailer(almost 7k together) I get around 9.5. I pulled a trailer with almost 5 tons of landscaping stones(I know I shouldn't have) I got about 9 on that tank of gas, pulled the trailer about 150 of the 300 miles.

14.5 to 15.2 with my foot stuck to the floor. I know it would do better if I let off a little bit but I just can't help it... I did get an outstanding 16.88 on a trip once.... :)

I get a lot better mileage than my old 5.7 Chev Z71 got! I pull a 4000lb trailer and I don't even know it's back there! The chev used to really struggle on any incline and it worked a lot harder.

One of our managers here was also getting about 12 or so, he said he was going to the dealer to have them reset his computer, I haven't talked to him to see if it is any better, though. I'll try to get back with you on that. His thinking was that the truck was 'broke-in' a little different than he really drives it now, anyway, he seemed to think the computer programmed itself for that type of driving, so now it's different.

:?: does that make any sense?

MPG

My truck got 15 1/2 to 16 miles per gallon when I bought it, did airbox mod, changed exhaust system to dual magnaflows, now I have and (this is no joke) 52,500 miles on the speedo, and I still get the exact same MPG, oh and by the way don't waste your money on premium gas thinking the mph will go up, it doesn't

yeah, that makes sense except for my truck only had 26 miles on it when I took it home. I hardly think that's enough to "break it in."

but let me know if you hear anything on that other Titan.

thanks!
