So I just took delivery of my Deep Water Blue Titan SE recently. Very stoked. Hello everyone...anyways I was quite a desert rat before I started racing imports so I'm looking for some decent desert tires for my SE. I can't find anything. I checked TireRack, DiscountTire, etc...I can't find anyone who has anything but the stock All Season POS tires. Does anyone know what tires might fit the stock rims. They dont have to be ridiculous size or anything. Like maybe a good 305 or 315 tire.

the problem is the rim size...
Well how bout rims? Any that you would recommend in this case. I haven't worked with Off Road or truck wheels in a VERY long time so I'm trying to find something that fits and tireack.com and dicount suck when you're trying to find a smaller rim.

Not really. I spoke with another Titan owner the other day who works in the automotive dept of a major retailer, anyway....he said there's only two companies that are making tires for our 18": GoodYear & Contiental. Other than that, 0, none, nada, zip.

He's looking a going up to a 20".

Hope that helps ya a little!

Nitto and Yokohama each make a 285/60-18; the Yoko is the Geolander model and the Nitto is the Terra Grappler, which I think is the type of tire you're looking for. Aggressive off-road tread. $201.00 each at Discount Tire. The Yoko's are cheaper (about $180 each), but it doesn't look to be an off-roader. Check Nitto's site; they make larger sizes of the 18" Terra Grappler, also. www.nittotire.com A hint when searching the Discount Tire site; don't search by vehicle. Search by the tire size you're looking for. You'll get much better results.

start looking for a 33x12.50 17 it's only about 1/2 an inch larger in diameter and not much wider. You should find quite a few tires in this size.

I think you will probably be happy with that tire choice, they are a good overall off road tire although the might wear a little faster than you will like on the street. I'm glad to see that finally offer them in that size, I've been keeping an eye out but haven't checked in a couple months. Great looking wheels. I've been serious thinking about having my OR package 17's powdercoated black, I've always liked the look of black wheels, and I think they would go good with the deep water color

That does sound good. Hey it'll be cheaper then new ones. Powder coating is like $300-400 a set depending on where you go... If I had the OR package I wouldn't have bought new wheels either...

I also have an extra set of the 18" LE 5 spoke factory wheels that I picked up for 150 bucks on ebay that I might use for offroad tires if I can find a decent tire that I can fit. I don't think the 5 spokes would look as good in black as the 17's though.
