Hey Folks - I am wanting to put duals on my Titan. Looking for some feedback from those of you who have upgraded already. I read the post from m4ck and that gave me good info on the Flowmasters, but I want to hear from people with other brands so I can get a good idea of what I want.

Thanks to m4ck for putting those sound clips on the forum. Keep up the good work.

I do it all for the money. LOL But yeh I do have to tell ya. Get the Flowmaster 50 or 70 series. Depending on how loud you like it. 50=louder 70=not so bad still good sound.
For those who haven't seen my post with the sound clips I will post them here as well.
start up and couple of short revs
one short rev..... small file
pulling out into trafic then onto back road and romping it
start up and drive normal for a minute one short acceleration at the end This last one shows how quiet it is when just cruising normal speeds.

Boy do I wish. I don't really have near the mods most of you guys do. I have a new exhaust , tinted windows, modded stock intake, splash guards, well I think thats it. I am working on a design for a custom center console that will house a dvd player, computer, new head unit installed in console. The double din hole in the dash will get a 8 inch touchscreen lcd. This is going to take me a while.

Let me know how that works out for you and put up some pic's. I didn't get the DVD option and wish I had. (Child on the way) I was going to look at adding the factory DVD, but would like to see your plans before I do anything.

hi k9, for the money you may want to check out this offereing from JBA http://www.truckperformance.com/products/?productID=627655 This system is all mandrel bent and replaces the stock resonators all the way back to a nice tip AND is under $300!! They're on sale right now from truck performance, this would be the one for me if I hadn't already done of bunch of exhaust work, which by the way cost way more than this kit from JBA and probably isn't as good!!

Thats nice if you don't want dual exhaust. I personally wouldn't change an exhaust if I wasn't going to get dual exhaust. Just my opinion though.
Still a good price on a cat back exhaust.

Dangit Dale, you know me by now that I am a pure sucker for potential "cool" stuff. I love the exhaust I have but tempted to try this one as well. You could always Y out back of muffler and get your dual look. Oh dear, here I go talking myself into it. Dang it Dale!!! BTW: any other links for cool stuff?????

No other cool stuff for today. Tomorrow is a new day though :) This offereing from JBA is tempting but I've got about $550 already in my duals and it's not even mandrel bent.. :( Oh well, if it falls off or I blow out a muffler then I'll be in the market!!

JetTech - First I want to say "holy crap!!!" to all those pictures of your Titan. That's great. Keep up the good work.

As for the exhaust you listed, I will keep it in mind (300 bucks for an exhaust is awesome), but I realy want duals. The duals you have on your Titan look good and I see they are Flowmasters.

I am leaning towards the Flowmasters at this point, but wanted to hear from other Titan owners who may have used other brands. If anyone has installed or has seen (and heard) other dual exhausts out there, please post. Thanks
