hey guys, i have been looking into buying a titan for a couple months now, and am looking for some advice on pricing, and just to get some general input from people that own them, because i dont know anyone that owns one. i live in the upper peninsula of michigan, does anyone know who the best dealer would be to go to? all the dealers surrounding me are in wisconsin except for one in marquette. i found a truck loaded with the options i want at vandynhovenimports in appleton wisconsin. it is a smoke king cab se 4x4 with off road, big tow, utility bed, splash guards, floor matts, bed extender, and the rockford fosgate package. list price is 32,740, and he gave me a price of 29,235. what do ya think? can they do better? any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard.

Just a little info. If you can save money by not getting the RF stereo then do so. Everyone who has it has problems. Everyone who has it says they wish they had just gotten an aftermarket stereo installed. I also found out it actually isn't RF at all. Its rebranded Panasonic. There were recalls on these radios. People complain all the time about them. I didn't have one and I'm glad I didn't waste any money on it.
Also, you may want to wait just a little longer if you can. Soon as the 05's come out you will get better deals on the 04's. Just a thought.

yep im not crazy about the rockford system either, but this truck is the closest i could find to what i want. they have one other one, but it has the bench seats, i think id rather have the buckets. i heard someone say that the new 05 titans will be out in november? is that true? how much do you think the prices will drop? i am getting a little concerned about availability also.

There's a $2000 rebate out on these Titans now and I would think you could get the dealer to come down more from that MSRP. Around here in So Cal there's a few dealerships offering $5000 off MSRP on any '04 Titan in stock (including rebate). It all depends on availability in your region. Price the Titan with the options on Carsdirect.com and see what their price is for your zip code. If that price is lower than the offer you received try to see if the dealer will match or beat it. I have the Capt. chairs and they are comfortable, not to mention the very useful center and overhead consoles. Look for a later build date too. Good luck with the Titan shopping.
