One of the main goals of engine manufacturers is to increase the COP, which ideally should be up to 100%. But at the moment, internal combustion engines used in cars are far from ideal. During their operation, a considerable amount of energy is spent on friction and heating. Because of the resulting heat, a cooling system has to be installed in the car. At the moment, the most common is the liquid cooling system of the car engine.
