Radio Question

I noticed something this morning on the way to work, If I save a radio station on AM on #1 preset, then one on FM on #2 preset, that it will switch between bands automatically. Does that make sense?

I figured it would work like others; FM presets 1-6 then AM presets 1-6. Maybe I'm missing somthing here????? dunno

Ideas?

That's an interesting observation. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a great feature to me, especially if you like to listen AM talk shows and music on FM without the hassle of switching back and forth. Cool..
I never noticed that on my Titan, mainly because I only listen to CD's, but I did notice that on my wife’s Murano.
I discovered this the day I got my Titan. As the service manager says, "Working as designed." I for one like it. I put all my talk stations on the A preset, my rock/pop on B, and other on C, both AM and FM. :D
I dont even listen to AM stations.
i noticed that during the test drive (actually the salesman pointed it out) and it was useful cuz i listened to some AM talk shows when i had enough of the commercial radio garbage. Since i got the Sirius i haven't listened to AM at all.
Noticed it on day 1. Nice feature. Now if there was a way to switch between A-B-C on the steering wheel controls, I'd be set.

My 05 does have that switch on the wheel called mode.

When I use the "MODE" Button, I can cycle bewteen 2 radio channels and the CD, but it does not appear to change the A/B/C part of the radio. Perhaps they changed that for '05
