Hmm, noticed something today. Had my truck parked on downward incline and started it up and put it in reverse. Let go of brake and started rolling forward!! like it was in neutral. Looked down at indicator and it showed "R" highlighted. Gave the column shifter a little wiggle and it caught and was now in reverse. Might have to mention that tommorrow along with airbag problem.

But you know what?

Still wouldnt trade my truck for anything!!! :D

Are you sure shift selecter was in R position all the way? That really sounds strange. Let us know what dealer says. (even though it will probobly be a patented bloew off reply to you)

Yep, it showed R. If I remember right, I think someone posted somewhere a while back in forums that there was a recall on shift lever, not sure if this is same problem. Not sure where to look for recalls.

Thats it! Although it doesnt describe exactly what happened to me but close. Mine was in neutral but showing reverse. I will mention it to them and see if I get the "operating as designed" answer.
