Has anyone done anything to make the ride of the off road a little smoother?
I have been having lower back pain sense I got my new Titan a month ago and I'm not sure if it's the rough ride or the captian seat that leans to the door.
I never had this trouble with my chevy.
Any suggestions?

Rough Ride

How about putting on differant shocks.
Would that help?
Ya the cushion of the seat is weak on the door side,
I have read on other forms where people have had Nissan replace the pad because of this.
I took a level and checked and it is off compared to the rest of the truck.

I guess you could change the shocks but I have no experience in this or heard of anyone doing it. Give it a try and then let us know so others could do the same if they're experiencing the same thing you are.

And yes Nissan should replace the cushion if it's sagging to one side. Sounds like a product defect to me.

I bounce around on some freeways here in So Cal because of the way the concrete slads are laid down. When I put a little weight in the bed, I don't bounce at all. Next time you load something in the bed, concentrate on the ride and see if it is improved. Otherwise, it is a truck and designed to haul and tow, the ride will be less comfortable then in a car. As for the seat, I have noticed that it appears the seat is designed for ease of entry/exit by being less stiff on the far left. If you drive and lean on the left door arm rest like I do at times, you are shifting your weight over onto that soft part of the seat cushion. Maybe try putting a towel down on that side and see if you notice a difference.

hummm.... My Titan rides like a truck.. because it is one..

If I wanted a car-like ride i would have bought a car..

and your seat is ...crooked? I saw the posts on the other forums and think that is BS..

people just need something to whine about .

the Titan is a truck.. enjoy it as a truck.
What did he do to be treated like this? Think he came to this Forum for help like everyone else. I would love to put new shocks on my truck to help the ride...adjustable would be nice when they have them available. I have seen other people complaining about their seats...They all liars?

Vector must have got up on the wrong side of bed today. We will be glad to help you in any way possible. Mom always told me if I didn't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. There is no reason to flame or be rude to members especially new members. Maybe after they have been here a while and realise we like to have some fun but go easy on a guy his first day. That said I have heard of others with the seats sagging on one side. I havent had this problem but if it is something common I'm sure I will seeing as I'm 320 lbs. Anything I sit on is prone to sag anyway. LOL. I would definately get that fixed by the dealership. I dont see where you could fix that one on your own. I have noticed the Titan is a bit stiff as far as suspension but I tend to think it makes it a little sportier. Yeh it would be nice if it floated on a cusion of air but I dont see that happening anytime soon. Give it time and there will be plenty of products out there for us to customize and make these trucks exactly what each of us wants out of them. By the way welcome aboard.

Then why not just say only that Vector6?

Iroshau - there are a lot of members on this forum who are willing to offer advice or help when someone asks. Sure there may be some repeat questions from people new to the forum but most here are always willing to help. Concentrate on the posts that offered some help instead of the one that offered little. The problem you state about the chair has been reported on a few different Titan forums and I hope from all the posts done on the subject you're able to find an answer to your problem.

Vector your always so cheary lol. Luckily some of us have not had the problems many others have had. Thats why we have these kind of places though to assist those who do. I believe after the 05's get out into the mix there will be less and less problems. Until then we will have to give the guys that have the problematic tics and rattles and busted cushions, bad radio reception, bubbling spray in liners, leaky air conditioners, rear ends with little or no lube in them the help they require to fix there problems and make them happy Titan owners as well. We are all part of the same big brotherhood so lets look out for each other. Its the Dodge,Chevy and Ford owners we should be messing with. LOL J/k about that.
PS just call me Hemi-ETR as I was dubbed after my races last week. hehe

I glad to see someone has the seat problem. I don't have problem with the driver side seat. On the other hand, my passenger side seat is not even (the foam).

I found it out by accident because I never seat on the passenger side. The outside (by the door)of the seat's foam is harder than the inside (near the center console). They are about 8-10 differences.

I will bring this up when I have time to go to the dealer. It doesn't bother me a lot but just want to let lroshau know that I know how you feel and it is not BS.
