Hi all... I just got a new Titan Crew LE in Smoke after months of looking around.
Anyway... after driving around for a few hundred miles I only have one peeve, the passenger mirror. I have the Big Tow Package mirrors and the top section makes objects seem much closer than they really are. Often, I can see cars in my rearview mirror long before they appear in my side mirror. This is not a case of adjustment... I have tried. This makes a huge blindspot, but fortunately, the lower mirror takes up its slack.
I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this with their passenger side mirror.

The Titan is a wide truck so you can't really see as well to the rear in the side mirrors as you can in a smaller vehicle. It took me a short while to get used to the mirrors, especially trusting the bottom convex mirrors. Now I have a good feel for where exactly other cars are when I see them in the mirrors.

I'll third it! I really didn't like those tow mirrors at first but ever since I got used to them, thay are too freakin cool! Extremely useful, hell it totally eliminates any blindspot! It's very handy when driving in congested Interstate traffic. Only thing is, you gotta remember that they make stuff look like it is a lot further away than it really is! I almost backed into another car because I was looking in my bottom mirror instead of the top one! But I learned my lesson and just love those mirrors!!!

I'll Fifth that! (Can I do that?) I love the tow mirrors on the Titan. Copied from the Ford Super Duties I was told by a Nissan Rep from corporate. I can't imagine owning another truck without this style of side mirrors. If you ever get a chance to tow with them, you will be in heaven.

I had a really hard time getting used to the mirrors. They were a lot different than my chevy mirrors. But, being able to adjust them electronicly is a big plus. I wish the lower mirror would adjust too, it allways seems to move out of sinc when I wash the truck ( which is often ) and just a small movement puts it way out of wack. Anyways, I'm used to them now, took a few months though. You will too. Enjoy your new truck. P.S. if you need a reaally good tonneau cover, check out the picts I posted of the Roll n Lock.

I have my mirrors adjusted so that I virtually have no blind spots. I can watch a car come from behind in an adjacent lane from my rearview, into the upper side mirror, then just a little bit into the bottom mirror. After that, I can see him alongside me. I rely on the bottom mirrors to back into my driveway and to align myself in a parking space. Couldn't do with out them!! Wonder how much more I'd see if I extended them??!!

I really like the mirrors, although I'm still getting used to them. One thing, though; this truck is wide, and those wide mirrors don't help! I can barely fit through my bank's drive-through ATM. I mean I have barely an inch of clearance on each side.

I'm glad they fold up or my truck would never get in my garage.

Collapse the drivers side mirror before you go through. I do that in the fast food and ATM drive throughs and it makes a huge difference.

TexasTitan, That is exactly how I set my mirrors up. With the addition of the lower mirrors, I can see all around. Did take some getting used to, but it works great!! Had it this way on my 94 Ranger, too.
