You are comparing apples to oranges. In the US the advertised power is at the flywheel, not gross.

I don't think they should post flywheel hp , just wheel hp because that's true hp

The way the Titan dyno's I truly believe that is closer to the true numbers of the Titan. How can a 2006 truck with 305 hp put down 275...that's just a amazing efficiency....so a 2006 Titan my guess is truly closer to 340 hp at the crank.

This was a pretty good article. I had no idea how all those numbers were determined. I had some thoughts on it, but this really cleared it up. Good post.

I agree. Because we all know how...ahem..."efficient" this truck is on gas!
