I just bought used titan and the TPMS light is on. The dealership (Ford dealership) took it in to service and stated that the tpms will continue going out with aftermarket wheels and there is nothing they can do. Is this true, first time truck owner so want to figure out what I can do thanks.

TPMS can work just fine - more likely there is an in-wheel sensor with a dead battery. The only real differences with TMPS sensors is a PSI range that they will work under... like ones for OTR trucks (big rigs) will operate at diff pressures than a light truck/suv/passenger car.

Can go to a tire service center and get them checked and replaced if faulty. They're not terribly expensive (less than a tire)
