Mine came on too, but it was below 0 temperatures both times. My tires are normally overinflated, so I doubt it is pressure related, more likely cold (frozen transmitters) related.

I had an '04 that the light came on once the temp got below 50 no matter what the tire pressure was. My '10 light came on, but hasn't had that problem since I started running 39psi in the tires.

no recall on the sensors. they are just crap. some of mine died so i just said to hell with them when i put on my new wheels. my light stays on, but no beeping.

Certainly the least impressive/cost effective technology implementation. Newer systems allow in vehicle reset, individual pressure readout too. Reliability has been disappointing. Repair cost high. I've had 4 units replaced due to breakage when tires were installed, or valve caps stuck to the stem. Google "Orange TPMS" for aftermarket replacement made by Schrader IIRC.
