truck in the 13's

Are you starting out in 3rd gear?
Tires spinning?
Uprev Tune to make sure the A/F is maximized?

You're running Michellins? That's a heavy tire.
Lose the tailgate?

I've tried losing the tail gate but I just lose more traction.
I start out in 1 st.
AFR is about a 12.3-11.9ish

Air Pressure, Drop It. When i was running street tires my pressure was around 26psi to get the Titan to hook. Start at 30 and drop it in 1-2 psi increments until you can go full throttle off the line. The $22 Helper Spring mod Works if you do not have it yet.
The weather Does play a big part in the ET's, wait until the Barometer is in the 30.0's and rising with low humidity and low air temps 13.9's should be No Problem.
How is the track prep? Where do you run at?

Lowering the air should help your 60' time. If you would have ran a 2.0 60' on your [email protected], you time slip would have probably read a 13.9. You have TT, so you should be able to pull 1.95-2.0 60' times. I usually run a 2.1 60' with my pegleg.

I ran the 14.0 at San Antonio raceway..track was nice ...I'm in el paso right now and its sucks for racing here because the elevation so if I don't even hit 14.5 I don't care....ill lower the psi

I'll post my times up when I do my first run. It opens at 12

Try 30 PSI first, then 28 if necessary.

Keep dropping the pressure until it hooks at WOT on the line.
My 90 Chevy street tire was ran at 15psi.
15psi?! Is that safe to drive on the street?

No, air them up as soon as you can.

List of thing's to keep in mind @ the track:
shallow stage
leave on the last amber bulb
air pressure, start @ 30lbs (then go down 2lbs at a time)
traction spring's
no tailgate
no spare
DR's
DA
keep it in (3)
track prep
wind direction
NO a/c

When i go to the track i usually do 2 run's back to back, then let the truck cool off for as least an hour. Then run a few more! :)
