You didn't mention if you are running with lift or the tire size. With UCAs, you are probably lifted? How much? tire size?

Anyway, with left turn, right noise, look for right front tire rubbing inside the fender well.

Is your Titan a 4WD? If so, check your CV joints.

Check clearance between the CV shaft and the shock. Some shocks include "spacers" that move the shock slightly forward for clearance, if these were installed backwards it would create a problem.

 

I checked the clearance and it looks fine. Also, there is no sign of contact between the shock and CV shaft. I checked with the wheels straight, locked to the right and locked to the left.
I have 1.5" spacer with the 5100's set at the middle setting. The tires are Open Country AT2's 285/75/17 (about 33.8" as opposed to the stock ones which were around 32.5ish).

 

To check your CV joints, the first thing to look for is torn boots. If the boots are torn and leaking grease, there is a good likelihood the CV joints will be on their way out. With front end raised, check for any play in the joints. Try to rotate the axle shaft by hand. If you hear clicking or popping, the joints are bad.

Now, bad CV joints will generally cause a clicking sound when turning, so noting your original complaint of a grumbling sound, this could be heading you in the wrong direction. Tire size and so on sounds OK, but based on your description of the sound, I'm still suspicious of tire-related noise - interference, whatever.

Thanks, I ordered a new front hub assy. Hopefully it'll be here by this weekend. I'll check the CV joint when I have the truck up.

 

If its a bad cv joint. The sound would be ticking or tacking repeatedly every time you make a left or right turn. Most likely is a rubbing tire or mud flap or mud guard.

 

My 2017 SL makes a clunk or chunk sound on revolution when I turn left only and going slow. The truck also seem to ride rough for the first 10-15 minutes each morning on my 35 minute ride to work any ideas? Does that sound like a possible CV joint? Can a bad CV cause the rough ride until warmed up?

 

@BigK Check your wheel bearings.. Jack the truck up enough to fit a tire iron under it and try moving it up and down.. push and pull, etc.. shouldn't have any play.. if it does the bearings bad..

 

I've replaced both hub assemblies on mine. Not a super simple process, but not terrible either. I also did the CV Axle on the driver side, also not too bad. I did both driver side items when I noticed the CV boot had torn and was flinging grease all over the place. Figured I'd be proactive and replace it and the hub assembly while I was in there.
