Yet another Jba LT Header & Bpipe Install

Let me start off by saying I have an 05 cc bigtow 4x4. At 61,000 miles, my exhaust manis cracked and were replaced under warranty..Didn't even make it to 117,000 miles and they cracked again. Nissan wanted $3000 to replace with the same style oem manis. They then told me that they would install my Lt headers for $900 if I decided to purchase some. Well after sticker shock on both prices, I decided to try and install them myself. Auto Anything was out of the jba ss headers (I honestly think people on this forum are buying them up), so I went with the ceramic titanium. Got what I feel was a great price on them. Started reading the many threads on installing lt headers. Thanks to all the members who gave great detailed steps and pics on installing them. I never would have been able to do it without the info. Thanks to ztaylor03 for the great advice. I went with nightowls catted bpipes. I must say these are a top quality product.. thanks again nightowl for all the help. Many people have bought these and I HIGHLY recommend them. Seymore4 is in the process of tuning my truck with uprev. It was running lean after the install, and I would highly recommend him for uprev. I don't think you will find a better price on uprev from anyone but him. These are two stand-up guys who will help you through the whole process.
I took my time, and the install went better than I had anticipated. I honestly didn't think I could do it, but trust me, if I can, anyone can. Do not pay nissan for their inferior manis that will just crack on you in a couple of years.
When I first fired up the truck, Holy Cow! Unbelievable sound coming from my exhaust!
Next up is saving for nightowls y pipe, trutrac, and the speeding ticket that I know will come.
This forum is great, and thanks to all the knowledgeable people that help us regular folk out.

Thanks for the review and kind words. Glad it all worked out for you and most of all no more cracked manifolds. Let us know what you think about the performance gain as well.

Yes sir, thanks for the great bpipes. Couldn't have done this without you and Seymore4. I was getting a little too much cabin drone, so thanks for the advice on the vibrant uq. Installed one, and the drone and cis sound is all gone. I really like the performance gain. I actually enjoy driving the Titan again; especially since no more cracked manis.

I just got a cracked manifold on my Armada last week at 56k miles and looking to do the exact same! I was told to go with PRT pipes?? Nightowl what do yours run and they will work on an Armada right?

The Cajuns will work on the Armada, Dont be fooled by 304ss pipes as the cats are 409ss. Look me up www.cajunbpipes.com, I would be happy to build you a set. Just look in everyones signature and you will see Cajun bpipes.

^^^ At 56 thou your mani's should still be under warranty , Have stealer fix them and then get ya some Cajun B-pipes,,,Catless of course! if your in Dallas then courtesy nissan should be able to fix you up. or maybe you would be wanting Headers?

I've been thinking of doing the same set up but I'm just worried when smog check time don't wanna have to remove and install every time smog comes...also can't afford uprev...will it be safe with no uprev??

Uprev is a must for non flexfuel Titans but you can sometimes get by without it if your flex fuel, stilll need to have the afr's checked post header install. My catted bpipes will pass obd emissions fine but you may have trouble if they do visuals. You will want Uprev for the massive performance gain in time I promise you, nothing like it. I can handle the whole setup including the custom Uprev tune and JBA headers, PM me if interested..
